NotiFeed Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
Overview
NotiFeed is a mobile application that connects to your social media accounts to display notifications, direct messages, and mentions in a single inbox. The app is designed for creators, brands, and agencies who manage social engagement across multiple platforms. NotiFeed does not display social media feeds or collect data beyond what is necessary to provide this service. Some features described in this privacy policy — including YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X integrations, push notifications, post scheduling, profile groups, and Pro subscription features — are planned for future versions of NotiFeed and are not yet available in the current release. Privacy practices for those features are described here in advance so this policy does not require a full rewrite each time a new feature ships. Only the data practices relevant to features available in your current version of the app apply to you.
Platforms We Connect To
NotiFeed currently supports Instagram and Facebook. Future versions will support YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (Twitter). This policy applies to all current and future platform integrations.
Data We Access
When you connect a social media account, NotiFeed accesses:
- Your account username, display name, and profile information
- Notifications, comments, mentions, and tags on your posts
- Direct messages sent to your connected accounts
- Post media (images, video thumbnails) associated with notifications
- Basic profile information of users who have interacted with your content
NotiFeed only accesses data necessary to display and manage your incoming engagement. We do not access your social media feed, your followers list, or content you have not been tagged or mentioned in.
Push Notifications
If you enable push notifications, NotiFeed will send alerts for new comments, mentions, messages, and other activity on your connected accounts. You can control which platforms, account types, and notification categories trigger push alerts from within the app. Push notification permissions are managed through your device's system settings and can be revoked at any time.
Profile Groups and Agency Use
NotiFeed supports organizing connected accounts into profile groups, allowing agencies and managers to switch between sets of accounts quickly. Group configuration and account assignments are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to any server.
Post Scheduling (Pro)
If you use post scheduling features, draft content and scheduling data are stored locally on your device until the scheduled time, at which point they are sent directly to the relevant platform's API. NotiFeed does not retain copies of scheduled or published content on any server.
Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
NotiFeed offers a Pro subscription that unlocks additional features including multiple connected accounts, profile groups, and early access to new platform integrations. Subscription purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. NotiFeed does not collect or store payment information. Purchase history and subscription status are managed by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policy.
Data Storage
All access tokens and account credentials are stored securely on your device using encrypted storage (iOS Secure Enclave / Android Keystore). Read and unread states for notifications and messages are stored locally using AsyncStorage. NotiFeed does not operate its own servers and does not retain your social media data remotely.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Data accessed from your connected social media accounts is used solely to display and manage your notifications and messages within the app.
Third-Party Services
NotiFeed communicates directly with the official APIs of connected social media platforms (Meta Graph API, YouTube Data API, LinkedIn API, TikTok API, X API). These communications are governed by each platform's own terms of service and privacy policies.
Account Disconnection and Data Deletion
When you disconnect a social media account from NotiFeed, all stored access tokens and locally cached data for that account are permanently deleted from your device. No data is retained after disconnection. To delete all app data, uninstall NotiFeed from your device.
To request deletion of any data associated with your account, contact us at chris@signalandstride.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. Because NotiFeed stores data locally on your device rather than on our servers, most of these rights can be exercised directly by disconnecting accounts or uninstalling the app. For any additional requests, contact chris@signalandstride.com.
Children's Privacy
NotiFeed is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has connected an account through NotiFeed, contact us at chris@signalandstride.com and we will take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as new features and platform integrations are added. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
